Here's a true Christmas classic with a twist for your festive lunch.
Here's how you make it.
Ingredients:
2kg smoked gammon joint
4 onions quartered
1 orange sliced
1 tbsp peppercorns
1 tbsp whole cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
2l of Kinnie
a handful whole cloves
4 tbsp honey
2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
1 tbsp soy sauce
You'll also need a pot, some bowls, an enamel roasting tray and a knife.
Method:
Mix ingredients, top everything off with Kinnie, bring to boil and simmer for 3h. Score and stud joint with cloves. Mix rest of ingredients and drizzle over joint, roast at 180 for 45 min.
